Welcome to Prison Fellowship Of Zambia (PFZ)
Prison Fellowship Zambia is a Christian Organization that works to improve the welfare of in-mates, ex-inmates and their families by advocating for a fair and effective criminal justice system in Zambia as well as proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. PFZ is a registered Non-Governmental Organization that has its headquarters in Ndola, Zambia.
PFZ’s mission is to dedicate itself to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to in-mates, ex-inmates and their families and provision of empowerment support and advocating for a fair and effective criminal justice system in Zambia. The core values of PFZ are centered on the Word of God as the guiding principle and these values are as follows: Justice and Human value, obedience to God’s Word, promotion of abundant life for all, forgiveness and reconciliation, ministry of God’s word, and unity in Christ.

Chaplaincy
He over-sees the chaplaincy activities of PF Zambia, he runs a disciple program known as the prisoners journey, mobilizes, identifies and train volunteers in prison ministries, provides linkages between PFZ and prison chaplains, identifies needs for prisoners, promotes reconciliation between offenders and victims of crime, rehabilitate and reform prisoners and ex-prisoners in Zambia.
Health, HIV and Conservation Farming
Prepare IEC materials for different clientele, runs mobile clinics, conduct HIV prevention services such as training of peer educators, resource mobilization, liaison services between PFZ and MoH and other relevant government line ministries.
Village Banking
Provide technical support to village banking members, identify members and equip them with knowledge on how to run village banking, teach and guide members on how to manage and enter data in the ledger book and other books, provide village banking services wherever they required.
Skill Training
Provides skills training activities in tailoring, knitting, carpentry, block making brick-laying and adult literacy to families of prisoners, prisoners and ex-prisoners who have interest to learn how to read and write.
Sycamore Tree Project
The sycamore tree projects provide reconciliation between victims of crime and offenders. The project officer promotes and trains the trainers of trainers in reconciliation. Family Support
Prison Fellowship Zambia continues to provide care and support to children of inmates in the communities. We started on a great note with children benefiting from the program. We have made it a routine to sensitize beneficiaries on the importance of safety, education, health, and spiritual resiliency. READ MORE…
